"Helge Netland is indeed a very fine bowmaker, and I have purchased a bow from him which is particularly suited for Mozart. I am presently in a dialogue with him to create for me the ideal modern bow ; probably a synthesis between D.Peccatte and P.Simon."

I am the happy owner of  a bow made by Helge Netland. It suits my manner of playing in all facets of violin technique. The bow draws a warm and generous sound from my 1740 Guarneri del Gesu, and it is responsive and comfortable in fast passages.  With other words; a wonderful bow!

“I have acquired a bow made by Helge Netland which I now use to compliment my old companion, made by Guillaume  Maline. Helge’s bow is well balanced with very fine playing qualities. It enables me to fully explore the  tonal palette of the violin I am playing, a Joseph Guarnerius filius Andrea, 1703,  kindly lent to me by Dextra Musica As.”
